Prices for chemical grade chromite are increasing as demand is tightens, especially in Europe, according to market sources.This week prices are up to $290-330/tonne for 46% Cr2O3, wet bulk, FOB Transvaal, South Africa, for chemical grade, while foundry grade is steady at $310-360/tonne, same basis.
