Tight US Gulf and Middle East supply causes Vancouver FOB prices to rocket

Sulphur prices have continued to strengthen in the last four weeks, owing to constrained domestic supply in North America.

 

Tight US Gulf and the Middle East sulphur supply, which is produced as an oil and gas refining by-product, is pushing prices upwards towards $180/tonne, FOB Vancouver, as demand for sulphur climbs.
